Free extinguisher hire for bonfire night

We are delighted to once again be offering free fire extinguisher hire to local community, charity or non-profit bonfire or firework events. Thereby helping to keep the community safe on bonfire night.

We will discuss your event with you, taking into account the expected number of attendees, and ensure the fire safety requirements are covered by a suitable number of fire extinguishers on the night. Up to a maximum of eight per event.

This offer is only open to local community groups, charities or non-profit organisations, and is available whilst stocks last.

Nigel Walton, director at Abbot Fire Group, commented: “I am delighted to once again support our local community with this offer. This is the 13th year we have run this initiative. There was an incident one year where one of the extinguishers had to be used to extinguish a rogue firework, clearly demonstrating the benefit of running this offer and helping keep the local community safe.”
