Fire Safety and Fire Warden training courses It is a legal requirement for all businesses to ensure their staff have had suitable fire safety training. Abbot Fire Group have released the following half day dates for their fire safety and fire warden training courses:
Dates: 26th November 2014
Venue: Abbot Fire Group’s office, Buckingham
Courses and cost:
Basic fire safety training only £41.25 per person (ex VAT)
Fire Warden (Fire Marshall) training – for those who have specific fire warden responsibilities – just £55.00 per person (ex VAT)
Both courses cover:
- How to spot fire risk by emphasising understanding of safety and fire risks
- Fire awareness, and the measures that can be taken to help prevent fires from starting
- Familiarisation with the different types of fire extinguisher and their uses is also covered, with practical hands-on extinguisher training conducted outside under carefully controlled conditions
The Fire Warden / Fire Marshall training also covers the additional specific responsibilities that this role entails; including day-to-day responsibilities, and additional action required when the fire alarm sounds.
